Less than 2 weeks ago, it was a beautiful 75 degree Saturday- in January!  Mark and I decided to load up and head to the park, along with every single other person in all of North Texas!

This baby LOVES to swing!

She looks so tiny!

I think she'd gladly go down the slide all by herself!

Instinctively, she got to the bottom and wanted to climb right back up!  Silly girl!

Just a few days later, and just like this Jack in the Box that Landrie LOVES, the weather popped out a HUGE surprise!

Can you believe the crazy weather, Mom??!

The temperature plummeted, and we even had a "snow thunderstorm!"  I didn't even know those existed.  Schools were closed for 4 days straight, and we had to find ways to stay busy at HOME.

So we pulled out some finger paints to try!  She started out so dainty...

Hmmmm

"Seriously.  You put me in my high chair, give me this great looking stuff, and you think I'm not going to eat it??"  She was so disgusted!

Yeah!

"Uh Oh!  There's a bit of purple here on my arm..."

I'm SO done with this!!!

Signing "finished" and looking very unhappy with me for taking too long to get her out of her seat and into the tub!

When Daddy got home, he took Landrie out to check the mail.

After a 3 hour commute the first day, Mark decided to spend a few days at home.  Landrie and I loved it!

Finally, we ventured outside.  The wind chill was below zero!  I love that her feet are completely covered in the snow!

Wheeeee!

Adorable snow bunny!

Tasting the snow

This tastes worse than the finger paints!

My mom made her the ridiculously cute hat!

She loved her hot chocolate SO much that she wouldn't take the cup out of her mouth between sips.

Can you find our front steps??  Or the road??

It stayed below freezing for days, so we got to enjoy the pretty snow (from inside!) all week!

We thawed out just in time for the Super Bowl, and now, just 2 days later, we are snowed in again!

Toddlerhood, here we come!

Once upon a time, there was a teeny-tiny baby girl.
She was so good at laying sweetly in her bouncer or snuggling.

Then, one day, although she promised she never would, her momma blinked.
And that teeny-tiny baby turned into this beautiful toddler!

Yup, this right here is where I drew on the wall.  Do you love it, Mom??

'Cause I think it's hilarious!

The same day, Landrie figured out how to climb backwards in her high chair.  It makes a perfect step stool to reach the light switch, you know!

That night she found her favorite toy of all time, our phone, and managed to dial 811.

AND, she figured out that this toy is also loads of fun to climb onto!  You should see how proud she is when she peeks over the couch!

Everyday is a new adventure around here!  Mark and I are amazed at how much she learns.  We are always looking at each other saying, "Did you teach her that??"  This is such a fun age!

Today we are staying warm and snuggly in our pjs all day.  You would too if there was a wind chill of -2 degrees outside!!!
