My sweet husband and I got married in June 2004. We couldn't wait to start our family! After several years of infertility treatments and one heart breaking miscarriage, God began to change our hearts. In the span of one week, both of us felt complete peace to stop all fertility treatments and dive head first into adoption.
We adopted our precious daughter, Landrie Grace, 9 months later.

We have been so blessed to have an open adoption with Landrie's sweet birth mom, Brianna. We visit her every other month or so!
After Landrie's 1st birthday, we again felt that same overwhelming peace about pursuing adoption again. Our agency said we had to wait until Landrie was 18 months before we could turn in our paperwork. That gave us 6 months to update our scrapbook and do all that paperwork!
In addition to being infertile for 5 years, I had lost an ovary a few months earlier in an emergency surgery, so I was SUPER infertile, right? You can imagine our COMPLETE surprise on Christmas Eve, 2010 when we found out we were pregnant!
Landrie is thrilled to have a little sister on the way!
We are so blown away by God's faithfulness in our lives. The years of waiting and uncertainty were not easy years at all. I would not wish them away for anything though. God has taught us so much and brought so much beauty from those tough times. Our cup is so full!
