Christmas with the Longs

Each year, I get more excited about how much fun the girls are going to have.  This year, Christmas with a one and three year old did not disappoint!  They made everything more fun!  We started out our celebration with almost a week of Mark's parents here with us.  What a treat!!

The girls were in HEAVEN with constant playmates!  PonPon and Ama played and played!

And really did whatever the girls wished.  haha!

Of course, my little reader LOVED reading lots of books too.

We even watched a Christmas movie with some chocolate caramel popcorn.  YUM!

On the last day before heading over to Mark's sister's house, we got Landrie up from her nap to get her "big gift" so that we didn't have to bring it with us.  She was so excited about her new doll house!

Mark's sister Megan lives just 30 minutes away, so we all headed over there to stay the night together.  I love how the kids wasted no time swarming all over PonPon!

Jaxon loving some grandparent time. :)

The kids had a ball.  Here they had a whole series of riding toys tied together with ropes, and were riding around inside the house!

I knew I had about 60 seconds to get a group shot of Mark's parents with all EIGHT grandkids.  I took a ton of pictures, and no two are alike. :)  I think this one is my favorite!
Gramm, Tatem, Ama, Landrie, PonPon and Tucker
Jaxon, McKinnan, Colson and Cade

Mark's mom and sisters!  They are all so, so sweet!
Beth, Rusty and Megan

Look at this cutie and her big grin!  I was so happy to see that Tatem liked Tucker's car, because she had her own under the tree!

Some things never change.  I remember being a kid and investigating all the gifts under the tree.  Do you?  :)

It's breakfast time!
McKinnan, Tucker, Landrie, Tatem (can you see that tiny smile back there?) and Gramm

The BIG kids are getting so OLD!  I see a little glimpse of teenagers in this picture.  Oh my!
Jaxon, Cade and Colson

Christmas dinner means it's time to come back to the table!

Little Landrie :)

Tatem thought she was so big using a fork.  Since then she's actually started using silverware!

Sisters!

Daddy and his girl :)

Gramm can't wait to tear into those gifts!

Jaxon's got quite a stack too!

The calm before the storm...it's time to pass out gifts!
Greg, I think that somehow this is the only picture I got of you!  At least we have proof you were there!

McKinnan got an ENORMOUS stuffed animal and was SO thrilled!

Colson and Cade showed off their new Lego sets.

The Braswell kids freaked out when they opened their game table!

Cutie Tucker with his scooter. :)

You can't go wrong with a remote control truck...for any aged boy!

It's time for the 2nd annual gingerbread house party!

McKinnan was quite artistic.

The little guys ate just as much as they put on their houses.

Well, actually, so did the big guys!

One of Tatem's favorite snacks is graham crackers.  The house confused her a bit, until she figured out the right way to tackle it!  haha!

Whew!!  That has to be one of my most picture-filled posts ever!  I hope you're Christmas was a great one too!!

Have a BEARY Good Day!!

I get a tad overwhelmed most of the times I look at Pinterest, but last night I saw an easy idea I hoped my girls would love.  Check out their faces.  They LOVED it!  Most weekday mornings it's cereal, so they were thrilled with this special treat.  :)
