Well, fall and Christmas all kind of flew by with WAY too many fun blogging opportunities for me to cram it all in while still enjoying all the fun with my family! It's time to catch up and look back to REALLY important things, like Tatem's first haircut! Landrie also had her 2nd haircut, but it was quite a change!
At 14 months, Tatem's hair refused to grow in the front, and was growing like crazy in the back. The inevitable result? Yup, a baby mullet!
When I wet her hair, you could see even more how there's only a tiny bit of super-short hair that grows in front of where a headband would be!

How did I keep her still throughout the 30 second extremely non-perfect haircut? I strapped her in a booster seat and gave Tatem her first sucker. :)
She looks so tiny! I guess she should! It was 4 months ago! Her beautiful hair still grows the same. I've given her 3 more haircuts in the back, and still haven't touched the front! haha! Anyone else have a little girl with the same hair? :)
Although we trimmed a few stray baby hairs during Landrie's official 1st haircut, she hadn't had one since!
Look at that beautiful, long hair! This was at the start of fall. Now those same jeans are almost too short!
In November it was REALLY long! I couldn't bear to cut it!
Finally, I realized the daily tears over combing through the tangles weren't worth it! I cut off a WHOPPING 7 INCHES!! It still looks REALLY long here as she celebrated her daddy's birthday!
We still had lots of tangles, and she still looked just as adorable with a little less hair, so I got a little more brave in February and cut several more inches off! Here's the result. :) I just love it on her!

Tatem and Annie have the same hair!! Seriously, Annie has the worst mullet ever. I just decided today it was time for another trim! :) People keep telling me to cut her bangs but she doesn't have bangs - its all hair growing forward from the back. NOTHING from the ears forward, LOL
