OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! It's official! We are expecting! Well, we are expecting a call! Our profile (scrapbook) is officially posted, and we are now just waiting to be chosen. Although it's a 1 in a million chance, a girl could be delivering in the hospital right now, they could pick us today, and we could rush to the hospital tonight! Ahhh!!!

I thought they would wait to post our profile until after our homestudy is complete and after we've attended the training, so this was a great surprise! I feel the need to run out and buy bottles and a carseat, just in case. The much, much more likely senario is that we won't be chosen today, and that we will be matched with a birthmom who is in her final trimester, not actually giving birth. If we are chosen before we complete the homestudy, the agency would just rush over and complete it right away. Our agency usually does 1-2 adoptions a month, so our wait will probably be longer than a few hours. :)
Let the waiting begin...

Now we are praying for patience as we eagerly await THE CALL! We are keeping our scrapbook for our baby, but I'll share the picture we chose for the cover...
