The first scrapbook I'll ever finish!

I'm pretty sure the rest of you would finish your baby's scrapbook if you knew they wouldn't let you have your baby if you didn't finish it! :) So, I'm obviously not a scrapbooker, and I was a bit worried about this part. (Well, truth be told, I was a bit worried about every part of adopting at some point!) I found a site that reviews digital scrapbook programs, and this one was a top rated program. Plus, it was on sale at Amazon, and it had a $10 rebate. SOLD!


The box looks super cheesy, but it was easy to learn and did everything I needed it to do. We had to write a "dear birthmother" letter that introduces ourselves, tells all about us, and makes us sound like people who will be great parents! We could have done this instead. How funny! We also had to include a bunch of pictures of us looking fun and happy. We need to make 5-6 actual books for them to have in the office for girls to look at, but it also needs to be digital so it can be viewed online.
Our scrapbook is finally done, now it's just time to proofread and send it off! WHEW!!! This was the last thing that was our responsibility to get done. One more thing is crossed off our to-do list (how I love that feeling!) and we are one step closer to a baby in our arms. I hope all of you have a happy Fourth of July weekend!
