Prayers

We have been overwhelmed with all of the support we've gotten from all of you about our decision to adopt! We have not had one single negative experience, and we thank you all for that! Many of you have said you are praying for us. If you would like to join us in praying for this little miracle, here are some things we are praying for specifically:

For our birthmother
-She needs wisdom as she makes the difficult decision to create an adoption plan, as she makes choices about her health, and as she deals with family and friends as she shares her plan.

-We are praying for the health of our birthmother and baby.

-Please pray for her relationship with God to grow. We have no idea who she is or what her feelings about God are at this point, but we would love for her to grow closer to Him during this.


For us
-That we would have wisdom as we are presented with a potential match.

-Please pray for peace instead of anxiety for us. (well, mostly Corrie!)

-Pray that we will be able to trust God completely, and that we will will be able to grow closer to Him during this too.

Thank you, thank you for praying. I know we would not be able to go through these past few years without knowing that God's plan for us and for our baby is the best plan possible, even when we don't understand. While the wait is not easy, I can't wait to see what He has in store!
