Grandma came to Texas a few days before PonPon. Landrie loves her Grandma and was highly interested in sharing Grandma's chocolate! See her little lips saying "please!"
PonPon joined us later in the week, and we got together with Mark's sisters and their families! Greg, Megan, me, Cade, Mark's mom, Mark's dad, Beth, Landrie and Mark. Rusty was over at the kids' table, keeping the wild ones in line. :)
FYI, Logan's only has tables for parties of 8! We made the brave move to put the kids at their own booth next to ours. They did pretty well! Jaxon, Colson, Tucker, McKinnan, Cade and Gramm
Landrie with her PonPon and Aunt Beth. Unfortunately, we've reached the dreaded age of "CHEESE" with the oh-so-real looking grin. :) Did your kids do that too? I hoped we would bypass that, but no such luck!

Then we headed out to the Mesquite Rodeo! Mesquite is a suburb of Dallas, and unlike most rodeos, this one has a long season- all summer. We'd never been before, I promise! Even though we live in Texas, this is not a weekly event for us. :) I wasn't sure how Landrie would do, because it started at 7:30, and that's her bedtime. She ADORED every single minute!!
Sweet brothers Cade and Colson
Jaxon and Uncle Mark!
Landrie with two of her favorites- milk and PonPon :)
They told the kids to scream if they wanted prizes!
I can't even begin to tell you how much she LOVED watching every minute of the rodeo! She was completely captivated until the end at 10:00! The kids all loved it.
Look at Gramm, the cowboy cutie!
Real cowboys in action!
Did you know that horses buck like the bulls too?
The 4 youngest grandkids (Landrie, Tucker, Gramm and McKinnan) danced with PonPon and Grandma during a break.
We had such a great time with everyone! It won't be long before Mark's parents are back, but this time, they'll be visiting us as a family of FOUR!
